Aden (Yemen), Sep 28 (IANS) At least three soldiers of Yemen’s joint pro-government forces have been killed and 10 others injured in clashes with Houthi contenders in the country’s Red Ocean port city of Hodeidah, said a tactical authority to the Xinhua news organization.

The Houthis sent an attack trying to make a ground forward leap in the public authorities controlled regions in the Roughages area, igniting serious fighting nearby, a neighborhood military source told the state of secrecy on Tuesday.

In favor of the government powers thought how to oppose the attack following a long period of fighting with defeats, the source said, adding that “the Houthis involve various heavy and medium weapons in their attacks against destinations controlled by public authorities”.

And again, the Houthi civilian army declared through its news sources that the powers of the Yemeni government supported by Saudi Arabia made 63 breaks in different areas of Hodeidah in recent hours, announced by Xinhua news organization.

Hodeidah’s clashes occurred a day after the Yemeni administration declared the adoption of a proposal from the UN recommending another extension of the continuous cease-fire that ends next Sunday.
