A video of a group of youths molesting a girl has gone viral on social media. The video was reportedly videoed at the renowned Bhagoria festival held at Balpur Village in Alirajpur district a few days back. Bhagoria is one of the greatest and most prominent annual events in the tribal-dominated districts of MP. It is seen in the video that the girl is attempting to hide behind a car parked there. In between, the youths of the groups passing by ran the girl and sexually abused her.
Momentarily after, another youth pulled the girl to his group and all the members of the crowd raped the girl. According to the news, the girl and the youth were citizens of the same village in the neighbouring Dhar district.
The cases of rape and sexual harassment has been increasing day by day in India. No one showing strict steps against these cases. Even the government of our country also just want to rule the country without even thinking about what the public doing in such small districts. The incident that happened to the girl is actually very shameful for every Indian.
District Superintendent of Police (SP), Alirajpur Manoj Singh said the police took cognizance and reported a case. “We have identified some youths. The teams have been thrown out and the accused will be arrested soon”. The police started their investigation but how much time does it take to arrest those vermin.
The same if something like this had happened to the daughter of a powerful person or the daughter of a minister, all those criminals would have been behind bars within 24 hours. But this cruelty has happened to a common girl, it remains to be seen whether this common girl gets justice or not.
The incident happened at Madhya Pradesh which is already a very famous place for its royalty and culture. So, it is the real culture of the place or it is the manner to treat a girl in a crowd. So far, the name of the victim girl who got harassed by some idiot boys in the crowd has not been revealed yet.
