Later, he was brought to the Maricopa County Jail.

“We are aware of Hollywood Brown’s position and have informed the NFL office as necessary. According to KTAR News 92.3 FM and Arizona Sports, the Cardinals stated in a statement, “We will speak further as necessary.” The Arizona Department of Public Safety informed the magazine that he had been arrested. According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports, Brown registered a speed of 126 mph.

According to reports, Brown wasn’t at the team’s morning practice on Wednesday. Prior to the start of training camp, the 25-year-old wide receiver was placed on the non-football injury list. He apparently has a hamstring issue and is healing. Before the team removed Brown on the NFI list on Tuesday, August 2, it was a kind of precautionary measure, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Just easing him back in, that’s all. We’ll start him off with the walkthroughs. If everything proceeds as planned, Monday should be a go, Kingsbury said on Tuesday.

With the Baltimore Ravens in 2021, Brown amassed 1,008 yards, a career high, and six touchdowns. On the opening night of the NFL Draft, he was dealt to the Cardinals along with Baltimore’s 100th overall pick in exchange for Arizona’s first-round selection.

DeAndre Hopkins, a wide receiver with the Arizona Cardinals, was suspended by the NFL for the first six games of the 2022 season prior to Brown’s arrest. Hopkins was charged with breaking the league’s ban on performance-enhancing drugs. Hopkins stated in a statement that he is still investigating what might have led to a positive outcome on a sample from November.

Hopkins reportedly stated, “I have never tested positive for utilizing performance-enhancing substances in my 10-year NFL career.” “I was perplexed and astonished to find that my November test revealed traces of a prohibited substance. I have always used a holistic approach and pay close attention to what I put into my body, therefore I am working with my team to figure out how this could have happened. But despite my best efforts, it’s obvious that I didn’t take enough precautions. I apologise for that to the Cardinals organization as a whole, the supporters of the team, and my teammates. I never want to disappoint my team. “I’m going to investigate this thoroughly. I’ll post more details as soon as I have them. Hopkins can rejoin the squad for its Week 7 game and is permitted to take part in preseason practices and games.
