Do Park Dong-ha and Eun-ju Die?

A Model Family is a crime thriller on Netflix. It mainly focuses on the Park family and the difficulties they encounter after attracting the attention of both the police and criminals. Eun-ju (Yoon Jin-seo), the wife of Park Dong-ha (Woo Jung), and he have been married for some time. They are not particularly happy with their lives and have two children. Dong-desperate ha’s efforts put the family in grave danger as the series progresses, making Eun-ju even more angry at her husband. Park Dong-ha: Is he dead?

No, Dong-ha didn’t die in the first season of A Model Family. At the beginning of the series he is a university assistant. By striving to secure the position as a full-time professor, he squandered the money his family had meticulously raised for his son’s heart transplant. Although Eun-ju is not yet aware of this, she declares her desire for a divorce. One day, on his way home, Dong-ha encounters a van containing two dead bodies and a large sum of cash. He then hides the cash, buries the victims and abandons the vehicle. However, since Dong-complete ha has no experience as a criminal, he makes a series of mistakes that bring the police and other criminals to his door.

The funds turned out to be the payment that the Yongsoo Ring was said to have sent to the Sangseon Ring. Methamphetamine is distributed by the former organization while it is imported to South Korea by the latter. The leader of the Yongsoo ring, Yong-soo, gives Ma Kwang-chul the task of finding the funds after realizing the danger they are in. Kwang-chul quickly realizes that the nondescript teacher stole the money. Kwang-chul initially wants to kill Dong-ha, but then changes his mind. He knows that Dong-ha, a family man with a sick child, is the best drug mule he could ever find.

As the show goes on, Kwang-chul gains grudging respect for the other man and, by defeating Sangseon Ring, assures his safety and that of his family. Dong-ha makes the decision to turn himself in to the police, but as he approaches the police station, he receives a phone call. The Parks find themselves caught in a cycle of misery and danger once more when an unknown stranger advises him to keep his phone safe if he wants to keep his family safe.

Is Eun-ju dead?

No, Eun-ju doesn’t die in the season of A Model Familyfirst either. She harbors a strong grudge against her husband at the beginning of the series, and by the end of the season, that feeling hasn’t really waned. We find out that she was with Han-cheol, a dead man in the vehicle who was also undercover by the police. When she learns what Dong-ha did with the money meant for her son, her animosity towards him intensifies. Eun-ju also learns what Dong-ha has done for Kwang-chul and persuades the latter to allow her to join her husband while he hands over the money. At the end of the episode, she learns that she and her husband were used as bait. At the end of the season, Eun-ju believes her family is safe. She will quickly realize that her family’s problems are far from solved.
