Low viewership marks the conclusion of JTBC’s In the Soop: Friendcation with Taehyung, Park Seo-jun and Choi Woo-shik

BTS’s In the Soop has a spinoff called Friendcation. BTS members RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, Jimin, Taehyung aka V, and Jungkook appeared in the original. On the other hand, Taehyung and his Wooga Squad buddies Park Seo-joon, Peakboy, Choi Woo-shik, and Park Hyung-sik make appearances in the spin-off.

Audiences can see their favorite stars throughout the series without the glitz and glamor of being part of the Korean entertainment industry.

Although online video clips from the four-part series went viral, the show’s JTBC airing was not well received by viewers.

What were the ratings for the last episode of In the Soop: Friendcation?

In the Soop: Friendcation had a bad TRP at the end of its television show despite having a huge star cast. The episode, which aired on August 12, garnered 0.6% of all viewers in the country, according to Neilsen South Korea. This is a decrease from the national rating of 1.3% for the first episode. The show only has four episodes, should be noted.

A star-studded special series hasn’t always fared badly since it premiered. For example, Sea Of Hope, another JTBC music special that even featured BLACKPINK idol Rose, didn’t do well.

What happened to the cast in Episode 4 of In the Soop: Friendcation?

One of the memorable moments from In The Soop: Friendcation was when Taehyung revealed how he met Park Seo-joon. The paths of the former and the latter crossed on the Hwarang sets in 2016. He had trouble playing his character because he was the least experienced actor on the set. Taehyung said:

“As a beginner, I felt completely disoriented. When I told him that, he helped me choose the right emotion for each scene and spoke with me.

Park Seo-joon clarified in response:

“V’s persistent questions showed that he was aware of his shortcomings, which made me grateful to him. I had never met anyone like that but I could tell he was doing his best so I just wanted to support him.”

Five of the show’s cast members skating on the ice rink was one of the episode’s other highlights. The cast occasionally expressed admiration for Taehyung’s early morning presence. In truth, the BTS member tried to learn how to cut vegetables with the help of Peak Boy, Choi Woo-shik and Park Seo-jun.
