Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are seen together for the first time since the Academy Awards

Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith have been spotted, and together for the first time since Will slapped Chris Rock for a joke at Jada’s expense at the 2022 Oscars in March.

The couple, who appeared to be in a good mood, were photographed Saturday in Malibu near the popular celebrity spot Nobu walking by hand as Will waved at onlookers.

The Oscar winner wore a black hat, navy blue polo shirt and matching pants, completing the look with a fresh pair of white Air Force Ones. Jada also rocked the sneakers in her black set, tying a flannel shirt around her waist and finishing her look with delicate jewelry and a pair of sunglasses.

This observation comes weeks after Will posted his last apology for hitting Rock at a ceremony over the “GI Jane” joke the comic told about Jada, who suffers from alopecia due to hair loss.

“I have contacted Chris and the message that came back is that he is not ready to talk, but when he does, it will contact him,” Smith said in the video posted on YouTube. “I’ll tell you Chris, I’m sorry. My behavior was unacceptable and I’m always here when you’re ready to talk.

Jada referred to this point in the June episode of her series “Red Table Talk” on Facebook, saying that she would like “these two intelligent, capable men to be able to heal, discuss and reconcile.”

As for Rock, the stand-up only spoke of the matter on stage in recent shows, including comparing Smith to the former head of Death Row Records and the well-known avid Suge Knight.
