Zendaya Shares Her Hopes For Euphoria Season 3

Zendaya is optimistic about the future of Rue.

The Euphoria star and executive producer is already looking forward to season three, and she has big ideas for what’s next for the hit HBO series. “I want to see what Ru looks like in her journey to sobriety, how chaotic it can look,” Zendaya said. The Hollywood Reporter August 13. “But also with all the characters, in the sense that they’re trying to figure out what to do with their lives when high school is over and what kind of people they want to be.”

She continued: “This season was a special one that we got to dive into [the other characters] in a much deeper sense. I think we can do it again with season three.”

Lexi (Maud Apatow), Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) got their fair share of screen time, so fans are hoping to see more of Kat (Barbie Ferreira) and Gaia (Storm Raid) independently.

And although Rue, Jules (Hunter Schaefer) and other students aren’t in the classroom as much as they are now, Zendaya still thinks that “it will be fun to explore the characters outside of school.”
