Alicia Keys takes over Rockefeller Center for a roller skating party

Add Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz to your roster of celebrities – including Madonna – who make their way through Manhattan’s burgeoning disco tracks.

The pair rented an ice rink at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace in Rockefeller Center for the late afterparty for Keys’ sold-out concert Friday night.

“We just finished a program on Radio City. It was such an atmosphere. The energy at home in New York is so good. It’s 12:00. The zone is the zone, ”Keys told her fans in the video before hitting the ice rink.

Rapper Fivio Foreign joined Keys on stage earlier that night, and one of the concerters even got down on one knee to propose during the show.

Keys described the night – and the offer – on Radio City as “legendary.”

“It’s so good to come home,” she wrote.

A crew from her hometown joined her for the afterparty, including her mother, Terria Joseph, her brother Cole Cook, husband Beatz, and their reunited children who were spotted skating with their mom and dad.

According to the spies, Keys and Swizz Beatz even made a few moves on the ice rink.

“Everyone was in a great mood. They were definitely in their zone, ice skating and laughing, ”a Page Six source said.

The guests rushed to the pizza and washed down the dear Armand de Brignac that was flowing. Friends included Meek Mills, Kehinde Wiley, Tevin Campbell, Busta Rhymes, Robert Verdi, artist Paul Gerben and the newest Fox 5 presenter, Tashanea Whitlow.

This is not the first time the pair has shown their inline skating skills in the city. In 2018, Swizz turned Tao Downtown into an ice rink and surprised the singer with a birthday party “Wu-Tang theme”.
