On Monday, August 15, 2022 at 10 p.m. ET, ABC aired a brand new episode of Claim to Fame.
The people who were still in the competition did their best to stay with it. Others relied on their strong alliances to keep them in the game for another week while others made plans.
On this week’s episode of Claim to Fame, Kai was singled out because she basically gave Louise the immunity. Although the alliances changed a bit over the course of the episode, Amara was chosen to be the guesser and she said that Kai is the famous relative of American comedian Tiffany Haddish.

In today’s episode of Claim to Fame, we found out who Kai is. The contestant’s real name is Jasmine English and she is the sister of funny woman Tiffany Haddish. After her big secret came out, she shared more about herself. Jasmine is a therapist using ABA and developing games. According to her LinkedIn profile, she works at Blue Maiden Games in Los Angeles.
“I’m really, really proud of my sister. Our lives have not been easy and it is always a source of inspiration for me to see her succeed, shine and be so graceful.
Fans were surprised to learn that Kai Jasmine was on the show, and they took to Twitter to talk about how they felt.
What happened in Episode 6 of Claim to Fame Season 1?
Claim to Fame Episode 6 began with Louise, Logan, Pepper, Amara, Kai, LC and Lark as the seven contestants. This week’s episode featured the main challenge of the season.
The official plot synopsis for the episode Poker Face reads:
“The final seven contestants are getting closer, but keep an eye on the prize as this week’s challenge is the most revealing yet. Hooked up to a polygraph, the contestants take turns in the hot seat, answering yes or no questions about their relatives.”
“You have to decide whether you’re telling the truth or lying. Everyone is trying to put on their best poker face, but only one person can stay in the guessing game. Back at the house, a group of people decide which clue to pull, and those in danger of being kicked out try to be The Guesser.”
The Claim to Fame contestant had to sit in front of a polygraph and answer the questions honestly while another player asked the questions with the help of other cast members. Each player had 5 minutes to answer the questions, and the player whose answers were most correct got to skip that week’s round.
Based on the answers to the questions, the contestants were pretty sure they knew who some celebrity relatives were, but they found no other references to Pepper and Logan. Even though everyone knew who Louise was, Kai took the opportunity to ask her silly questions that hinted at a possible affair with Logan.
By asking Louise the wrong questions, Kai gave Louise immunity. But the first girl ended up at the bottom with Amara. While Kai worked with LC and Amara to unveil Pepper’s clue that Brittany gave Kai before she left, Logan and Louise decided to find out who Amara was.
Before the final round of guessing, it was easy to figure out who Amara was. Kai and Amara were excited about the big reveal, but Logan wasn’t so sure. Meanwhile, Louise asked Logan why he wanted her tip. He saved himself by telling her it was better for Louise to find her clue than anyone else.
Amara was chosen to guess in the final round of Claim to Fame and she decided that Kai’s name should be revealed. The first person thought Kai was related to American comedian Tiffany Haddish, which was correct. Kai was the next contestant to be knocked out of the race.
With each new episode, Claim to Fame becomes more interesting. Now that Kai is out of the competition, only six people remain to fight. In the next episode, players will have to come up with better plans and play smarter to protect themselves and advance in the competition.
