Florence Pugh on Valentino’s clean dress: “Alarming”

Florence Pugh is not afraid to get her nipple free.

In July, the star of Don’t Worry Darling attended the Valentino Haute Couture fashion show, wearing a pale pink tulle dress custom-made by designer Pierpaolo Piccioli without the lining.

Trolls quickly flooded her Instagram comments and she opened up about the experience in her new one Harper’s Bazaar cover.

“I felt comfortable with my small breasts,” she said. “And showing them that way – it made it worse [people] that I was comfortable. “

Pugh, 26, continued: “It was just disturbing how concerned they were. They were so angry that I was sure of myself, and they wanted to let me know they would never fight over me. Well, don’t do that.

This isn’t the first time Pugh has touched on the subject of her unforgettable pink Barbie dress.

She defended her appearance in a long Instagram post full of silly photos, writing at the time, “Look, I knew when I was wearing this amazing Valentino dress, there was no way she wasn’t going to comment. Whether it’s negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing. I was excited to wear it, and it wasn’t nervous to blink an eye. I haven’t been before, during, or even now after.

Pugh continued, “This is not the first time, and certainly not the last time, that a woman will hear what is wrong with her body from a crowd of strangers, but it is disturbing how vulgar some of you men can be. Fortunately, I have come to terms with the complexities of my body that make me be. I enjoy all the “flaws” I couldn’t look at when I was 14. “

She was endorsed by many celebrities, including Regé-Jean Page and Jessica Chastain. The former urged the men to test themselves, while the latter asked, “Why do some men realize so menacingly that women can love our bodies without your permission? We don’t belong to you.

Elsewhere in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the fire star confirms that she broke up with boyfriend Zac Braff earlier this year after almost three years together – and once again mentioned the painful comments she received about their 11-year difference century.

“We tried to do this separation without knowing the world because it was a relationship everyone had an opinion about,” said Pugh. “We just felt that something like this would really benefit us because millions of people don’t tell us how happy they are that we’re not together.”

Pugh has responded not only to haters of her style and selection of men, but also to those who are only interested in the sex scenes she has with Harry Styles in the upcoming duo movie, directed by Styles girlfriend Olivia Wilde.

“I just won’t talk about it because [this movie is] bigger and better than that. And the people who made it are bigger and better, ”said Pugh.
