Hogan was found not guilty of murder in January last year after the court ruled after a two-day hearing that he had endured “an earthquake of insanity” and was unfit to commit murder.
Hogan attempted suicide four times during his incarceration, so it was decided to place him in a psychiatric hospital so he could be treated. Hogan’s legal team successfully argued that he had a family history of mental illness and had not intended to intentionally kill his children.
