Alexis Bledel’s husband, Vincent Kartheiser, files for divorce

Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser call it a quit.

Kartheiser filed for divorce after eight years of marriage, which was confirmed by the representative of the star “Mad Men”.

In the documents obtained by Nas WeeklyKartheiser, 43, filed for divorce from 40-year-old actress “Gilmore Girls” on August 10 at Putnam County Supreme Court in New York City.

Bledel secretly married her soon-to-be ex-ex in June 2014 after meeting on the set of his AMC franchise, though they waited until filming was over to continue their true romance.

The actress planned her wedding during the filming of 2015’s “Jenny’s Wedding” – starring Katherine Heigl – in which she played a lesbian getting ready to marry a conservative family.

Speaking to nylon about the process, Bledel said at the time: “It was surreal to go through the scenes from the wedding itself and think about how much these characters have to go through to get to this point. And you know, it was so easy for me to just plan a wedding, celebrate and make everyone happy for me.

The notoriously private couple confirmed their engagement in March 2013 when Kartheiser told us Weekly he was “lucky”.

They quietly welcomed their son in the fall of 2015, keeping the news of their child a secret until Bledel’s former partner of ‘Gilmore Girls’ Scott Patterson accidentally revealed that the couple had a child to Glamor next spring.

Parents with pursed lips have yet to reveal their 6-year-old’s name to the public.

Bledel representatives did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
