Brad Pitt allegedly damaged the plane during a fight with Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt allegedly caused $ 25,000 damage to a plane during his infamous fight with Angelina Jolie in 2016.
The 47-year-old actress claimed in a recent FBI report that she was resting with the children on a plane when they told her to “look” at 58-year-old Pitt, whom Jolie saw “pouring a glass of red wine.”
While the location of the spilled alcohol was edited in documents obtained by Page Six, Jolie later claimed that the wine “flew all over the chair” and had not been cleaned “for the rest of the flight.”
The Salt star claimed she “later” found out that it “resulted in about $ 25,000 in damages.”
After pouring, Pitt allegedly “laughed and walked away for another drink,” according to the report.
On another flight from Nice, France to Los Angeles, the star “Fury” allegedly spilled beer on Jolie “and the blanket she slept under.”
In documents released Tuesday, the star “Maleficent” accused her ex-husband of verbal abuse, and Pitt allegedly told her that she was “ruining [their] family.”
He reportedly also compared Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, or the twins Knox and Vivienne, 14, to “columbina baby” who can “kill someone”.
Pitt also allegedly hit the plane’s ceiling multiple times, “pushed” Jolie, and ran “toward [one of their kids] as if he were going to attack, ”according to the report.
Jolie, who filed for divorce from the Fight Club star a few days later, claimed she had damaged her elbow and back in an attempt to stop him. In the report, she shared photos of her alleged injuries.
The Tomb Raider star anonymously sued the FBI in April over an investigation into the incident. While many suspected at the time that she was the reason, Jolie’s identity was only confirmed earlier this week.
Pitt has yet to comment on the latest news of the alleged quarrel, but he did talk to GQ in May 2017 about his decision to stop drinking.
“I drank too much. It just became a problem, “said the star of” Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, “who was named legal single with Jolie in April 2019, told the magazine at the time.
“I’m really happy it’s been six months now, which is bittersweet, but I have feelings in my fingers again,” he continued, noting that once he could “drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka.”
In the FBI report, Jolie claimed she had previously witnessed Pitt “drank an entire bottle of vodka and continued to function.”
She also claimed that Pitt got “drunk” on a plane from Hell, but “was still very aware of his surroundings.”
Jolie claimed that “Mr. & Mrs. Smith, “whom she married in August 2014,” spoke, did not walk incoherently, and seemed to be speaking on purpose.
The FBI never brought charges against Pitt for the incident. A source close to the actor recently told Page Six that there was “nothing new” in the unsealed report.
