RHOP stars Robyn and Juan Dixon obtain a marriage license
It seems fans of “Real Housewives of Potomac” may finally hear the wedding bells for Robyn and Juan Dixon.
The Decorated founder and a former NBA player, both 43, received a marriage license from the Howard County Clerk’s Office in Maryland on Thursday. Reported persons Friday.
Citing Clerk’s office policy, outlet noted that both of them could get married at any time from next Saturday until February 2023, when the license expires.
The couple’s representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s question, and Bravo declined to comment.
Robyn and Juan were high school sweethearts? who were married for the first time in July 2005. They had two children – sons Corey, 14, and Carter, 12 – earlier divorce in March 2012.
Despite the split, the former still lived under the same roof and slept in the same bed – an albeit unconventional setup that they considered working for their family.
During season 4, which premiered in May 2019, Robyn revealed that she and Juan had fully reignited their romance. They were engaged in December.
A romantic proposition from the university’s basketball coach was documented during the tear-jerking finale of season five.
“Robyn has been my rock, my mountain for so many years, through the ups and downs, the mother of our beautiful boys Cory and Carter. And Robyn, I want to do something real quick, Juan said into the microphone at the Christmas party with everyone in attendance.
He dropped to one knee and continued, “As you all know, Robyn and I have tried this once before.” Did not work. I was young and stupid. “
“I appreciate you very much and I want to try it a second time,” he added, looking directly at his love. “Will you marry me?”
After saying yes – again – Robyn she gushed on Instagram, “Sweeter the second time!” Thank you to everyone who loved, supported, entrenched and prayed for Juan and me. We really appreciate all the love and congratulations when we start #DixonsPartDeux. “
Unfortunately for the reborn lovebirds, the coronavirus pandemic forced them to “change” [their] focus ”from planning the second wedding to completing the construction of your dream home.
“All my focus and resources went in that direction,” Robyn told Page Six last July, adding that wedding planning was “not really an option” at the time.
“Juan and I were married before, we have children, so it’s not as urgent for us as it is for other people who want to start a family life,” she explained, noting that she did not want to “deal with uncertainty” trying to organize a big event amongst constantly changing CDC guidelines.
Robyn spent most of season 6 grilling by her celebrity mates about setting a date, managing Juan’s relentless desire to try for a daughter, and fighting quarantine-induced depression.
Season 7, which is currently being filmed, seems to be looking for her.
