The 47-year-old actor apparently revealed on Monday that his eldest child, Indiana, is moving out of an emotional Message on Instagram!.

“The water is getting deep, the sea is wide, the winds may be increasing. You’ve seen it before. And although the ship is the safest in port, this is not what the ships are made for, ”the Oscar-winner wrote a return photo with the 18-year-old.

“You’re ready for it,” wrote Affleck. “You are exceptionally wonderful, full of righteousness, courage and kindness. You will be an improvement to the land of “adults”.

“And if you go out into the world with curious amazement and sincere gratitude, the world will (eventually) meet you with the same,” he continued.

The filmmaker told the teenager that he would “always be there” for him, concluding, “Please remember that one of the best parts of any adventure … is coming home. … I love you.”

One of Affleck’s supporters predicted that Indiana would love “dormitories” in college, while another added, “My son is going to college too.”

A third wrote: “The best part of parenting is watching them recover. Letting go is the hardest thing.

Affleck, who has yet to disclose whether Indiana is starting school or just moving out, celebrated Indiana’s 18th birthday in June.
