How to cast Safari browser from Mac to TV

  • Connect to a Wi-Fi network with your Chromecast, and then connect your Mac to the same network.
  • Open the Chrome web browser on your Mac. Select the cast menu by right clicking on the browser screen.
  • Alternatively, tap the three dots icon in the browser and select the Cast menu.
  • The Mac searches for nearby devices connected to the same network. Select the Sources tab once your Chromecast name appears in the browser.
  • Select Cast Desktop, then tap your Chromecast’s name.
  • Choose and share your Mac’s screen.
  • After mirroring Mac, quit Chrome and launch Safari.

How to cast Safari from an iPhone or iPad to a TV

  • Download the Replica app from the App Store.
  • Once installed, launch it and select your Chromecast device name.
  • Press the Start button and select the Start Transfer option.
  • Your iPhone’s screen will appear on the TV.

Another option is to use a Lightning Digital AV Adapter.

  • Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the Lightning Digital AV Adapter and the other end to the HDMI port on your TV.
  • Turn on your TV and select the appropriate input source.

  • After a few seconds, the iPhone screen will mirror the TV screen.
