Last night, Henderson City Commissioner Robert Pruitt confirmed the primary death, and spokeswoman Donna Stinnet confirmed the second. According to McKinney, witnesses at the shelter identified Gibbs as the shooter. At around 9:45 p.m. he was at a nearby boat ramp about three miles from the refuge.

Steven Wathen, 67, and Chad Holmes, 44, have been identified by police as useless. They all shared a room at the Harbor Home with the two injured victims. Tributes to victims were posted on Facebook, and Holmes was remembered as having a great heart for others and aspiring to be a pastor.
