Soon after passing the village Charlby Dean was confirmed Nina Dobrev took to social media to pay tribute to the actress.
On her Instagram StoriesThe 33-year-old posted a cute Boomerang video of the pals looking all dolled up and hanging out together at the amfAR 2022 Gala in Cannes, France back in May.
“The angel went to heaven too soon,” Dobrev wrote on August 30. “Rest in peace, Charlby.”
In a follow-up Story, Dobrev posted a black-and-white photo of Dean, adding, “May you be all that you could imagine.”
From 2009 to 2015, Dobrev starred in The CW supernatural drama series The Vampire Diarieswhile Dean appeared as Sionides for two seasons on the DC Universe superhero drama Black lightning in 2018.
Dean, who was originally from South Africa, died on August 29 of a “sudden unexpected illness”, a representative for the star confirmed. NBC News. No further details about Dean’s death have been released publicly.
