Every vacation has stressful moments, but none like this.

What was supposed to be a fun two-week cruise, the E! News’ exclusive first look at Peacock’s A hell of a cruisethe premiere of which will take place on September 14.

The documentary tells the real stories of the passengers and crew on board Diamond Princess cruise ship that set sail in late January 2020, but “had no idea that a deadly new coronavirus had boarded the ship with them, turning the floating paradise into their worst nightmare,” according to the NBCU streamer.

Days after one passenger on the ship the test is positive for the virus, cases began to spread and the ship was quarantined February 5 in the Japanese seaport of Yokohama. But as things continued grow by the hundredsthe ship was plunged into chaos as medical teams worked to contain the outbreak without risking further infection, while US officials scrambled to get citizens home.

Perhaps one of the scenes in the documentary best describes the situation in the trailer, as he says: Diamond Princess was a zero point of view.”
