The disgraced Hollywood star Armie Hammer is being investigated by a prosecutor “specially assigned” to review claims he raped his ex-lover, could reveal Page Six.
The authors of the new “bombing” documentary: “Hammer House“- about the dark history of Armi and his family -” said they were told that the LAPD was still investigating the actor over allegations that he had assaulted an ex-girlfriend named Effie.
Effie, whose name has not been made public, claimed that the “Call Me By Your Name” star brutally raped her within four hours in Los Angeles in April 2017, saying, “I thought she was going to kill me.”
Armies, 36, have not been charged with any crime so far, but Greg Risling, a spokesman for the LA County District Attorney’s Office, told Page Six: “A specially assigned prosecutor is working with law enforcement to continue the investigation.
“Once law enforcement has completed its investigation and reported the matter to our office, we will conduct an assessment and file criminal charges that are backed up by evidence.”
Through his lawyer, Armie denied the allegations.
“We don’t know if [Armie] will or will not be held accountable, “House of Hammer co-director Elli Hakami, said Page Six.
The premiere of the series on Friday Discovery +.
Meanwhile, the actor’s aunt, Casey Hammer, 61, who tells about her family in the documentary, told Page Six: “The armies have left a trail of victims in their past, and people need help to help them move on. I want to help build a community and let them feel safe.
“My family has been abused over many generations and they need to stop getting away with it. Just because you have money, privileges, and power doesn’t mean you can’t be held responsible for what you’ve done. “
Casey talks about her own abuse on the show and tells us how, even after the death of her grandfather, the oil tycoon Armand Hammer, she used an imaginary surname in her thirties to avoid being associated with her family.
She used this name for 18 years until her mother, Glenny, was diagnosed with cancer. “I had a moment where I thought,” I’m going to pick up Casey Hammer. ” It’s my choice now. This time I am proud of the name and hope to change my reputation.
“If I can help others by telling my story and influencing one person, it will all be worth it,” added Casey.
She last saw Hammer and his father, Michael, who is her brother, on their mother’s deathbed 14 years ago in Seattle, Washington.
When asked if she would ever speak to Armie, Casey, who lives in Los Angeles and writes children’s books, said: “Honestly, I’d rather contact his [alleged] victims “.
Meanwhile, Effie, who is believed to be in her 20s and comes from Europe, is represented by attorney Gloria Allred. She is believed to have first accused the Armies through her @Houseofeffie Twitter account
When she spoke in March 2021, Effie said she had a relationship with Hammer, which was at times brutal and offensive in 2016-2020 after they met on Facebook.
During the April 2017 incident, Effie claimed that Hammer “repeatedly hit my head against the wall, bruising my face” and was stopping her from escaping.
Effie is just one of many women who accused the star of bullying, posted several messages containing violent sexual images and cannibalistic fantasies that she allegedly sent them to the Armies.
In House of Hammer, Courtney Vucekovich’s alleged victim relates how Armie allegedly subjected her to a “degrading” sexual act and tied her with ropes on another occasion, leaving her in tears.
Hollywood rejected Hammer. His WME agency dropped him and he hasn’t had any new roles since dropping the charges.
