Bethenny Frankel strikes at the “reckless” use of Photoshop by the Kardashians

Bethenny Frankel is chasing members of the Kardashian family for their “destructive” use of Photoshop.

Graduate of “Real Housewives of New York”, 51 years old, said TMZ on Thursday that reality celebrity social videos are “unfair to women who are just trying to cope”, calling them “irresponsible” and “reckless”.

She added: “Moms feel insecure. … They don’t have time for this [Photoshop]nor do they even know how [with] technology.”

Frankel added that women “cannot compete” with Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and their sisters.

“The more we see these images, the more we think they are real. It becomes a false ideal, ”she explained. “It is not inspiring, there is no aspiration. It causes eating disorders, insecurity and depression. This is a serious matter.

Former Bravo personality advised the Kardashians to “wear a little makeup” and “be honest” about plastic surgery rather than “lying outright” about filtering and photoshopping.

“The playing field becomes uneven,” she continued. “Once you’re a billionaire, you have access to much more … and it makes people feel terrible about themselves.”

Frankel’s comments come days after she showed her Instagram followers a comparison of what she “really looks like” behind filtered photo.

“I DO NOT look like this… and you know bc [sic] I’m not vain and I’m showing you my true self, ”she wrote a bikini photo on Wednesday. “But if I published a daily version of it, you might start to believe it could be.”

Frankel called social media “distorted”, concluding: “There is a line between trying to look nice and outright lying.”

41-year-old Kim and more of the “Kardashian” stars have been called upon to use Photoshop in the past, and the creator of KKW Beauty has recently been under fire for removing her trapezius in a pool photo.

As for Khloé Kardashian, who previously confessed to editing True’s daughter for a Disneyland photo, the 38-year-old’s team worked hard to remove her airbrush-free bikini photo from the internet in April 2021.

Kylie, for her part, made headlines because she had six toes in a fake post promoting her collaboration with Kim in August 2019.

When Kourtney Kardashian was accused of a Photoshop faux pas in February, she claimed the photo was “fan editing” and removed it from her account.
