Page six confirmed that Armie is under investigation by the LAPD after filmmakers told us that a Los Angeles prosecutor had been “specifically appointed” to investigate rape claims from a former lover named Effie.

“I thought he was going to kill me,” she said in 2017 after claiming he had brutally raped her for four hours in LA.

Hammer denied all allegations and said the sex between the alleged victims was consensual. A spokesman for the LA County Attorney’s Office told us that “a specially assigned prosecutor is working with law enforcement, which is continuing the investigation.”
