Jeremy Strong slams this New Yorker profile as ‘betrayal’

Jeremy Strong does not hold back his true thoughts about what profile.

The Succession the star has finally turned to 2021 Resident of New York an interview that went viral after his friends and Hollywood colleagues criticized the way he was portrayed.

– What can I say about it? Strong said vanity fair in an interview published on September 2. “It was something that was a pretty deep betrayal of trust to me.”

The December article described Strong’s alleged intense method acting with his co-star Brian Cox saying, “I’m just worried about what he’s doing to himself. I worry about the crises he goes through to prepare.”

Now, according to Strong, the profile “ultimately maybe said more about the person writing it and their point of view, which is a valid point of view, than about who I feel I am and what I am about.”

As for the mass reaction to the article? “The noise and the fog after it: I think what I’m concerned about is ultimately trying to feel as free as possible as an actor,” noted the actor behind Kendall Roy. “Part of it is trying to isolate yourself from all that, and what people might say or think about you. You have to let go of that.”
