Queen Elizabeth II’s family members rush to the monarch’s bed because of her health problems.

Her late husband, Prince Philip, died in April 2021 at the age of 99. Six months later, the Queen was hospitalized with an undefined medical condition and “reluctantly” canceled her trip to Northern Ireland.

“After being advised by a doctor to rest for a few days, the Queen went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon for preliminary examinations, returning to Windsor Castle today at lunchtime and staying in a good mood,” the palace wrote in a statement at the time.

Her Majesty was advised to rest for two weeks, taking on only “light duties at the desk … including some virtual recipients.”

Elizabeth II is the longest reigning monarch in the world. He has been on the throne since the death of his father, King George VI in 1952, celebrating his 70th anniversary in June.

73-year-old Karol is next in the line of succession.

In February, Elizabeth announced that 75-year-old Camilla would assume the title of “Queen Wife” when the time came that the Duchess of Cornwall called “honor.”
