He admitted his last two fights against Thiago Santos and Jamahal Hill didn’t go as planned.

Walker is hard at work preparing for UFC 279 to defeat Ion Cutelaba on September 10th. The upcoming performance will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He currently fights in the Light Heavyweight (UFC) category of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has been a professional fighter since 2013, joining the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Series. Before that he competed in his native Brazil for Jungle Fight. He is currently ranked 13th among the light heavyweights in the UFC as of May 16, 2022.

In December 2013, Walker made his MMA debut at the professional level. He competed in his native Brazil for the next four years, with a record of 10 wins, 3 losses and all injury wins.

Walker eventually received an apprenticeship offer from a Scottish businessman and moved there. After a month he wasn’t paid, so he left[7]. In early 2018, Walker relocated to England where he fought for several promotions, added three more wins to his tally and secured a position in Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2018. Walker, a Brazilian, chose to compete for England because he believed this was the country where he could best fulfill his potential.

Walker faced Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC Fight Night 140 on November 17, 2018, making his UFC promotional debut. Knockout in the first round gave him the win. Walker received his first Performance of the Night bonus award thanks to the win.
