Uppalapati Krishnam Raju, a former Union minister and veteran actor, has recently passed away. The minister passed away on September 11, 2022, leaving his family and well-wishers in deep mourning. He served as Union Minister of State and was a two-time member of Lok Sabha during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. In more than 180 films, Raju, also known as “Rebel Star”, portrayed rebellious characters and set new standards for the genre. He made his acting debut in the 1966 Telugu film Chilaka Gorinka.
