Paris Hilton reacts to new Netflix documentary ‘Bling Ring’
It is not hot.
Paris Hilton will not add “The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist” to its Netflix watch list, page Six said.
“She’s not interested in reliving it after all these years,” the source only tells us about upcoming documents about a group of criminals who once stole a famous hotel heiress’s million-dollar branded goods.
The insider also shares that Hilton, 41, was asked to take part in a Netflix documentary but had to “respectfully decline” due to her busy work schedule and the imminent launch of her new media at 11:11.
In 2013, while preparing for the crime film “The Bling Ring,” DJ allowed the crew to film in her home and took a cameo role in the film. However, we were told it was because “Sofia Coppola was directing”.
Almost 10 years after the premiere of this movie and more than a decade after the break-in at the Hilton’s house, the singer of “Stars Are Blind” wants to leave this part of her life in the past.
But Netflix on Tuesday released the trailer for their three-part documentaries, and a former member of the “Bling Ring” mentions how the Hilton House was their “personal ATM”.
“Really? Another open door? Well, we can do it again,” said Nicholas Prugo – who served a year in prison for his crimes – said in the series about the perpetrators mentality at the time.
In 2013, journalist Nancy Jo Sales wrote in her book “The Bling Ring: How a Gang of Fame-Obsessed Teens Riped Off Hollywood and Shocked the World” that a group directed at Hilton especially because she would have left the door open.
One robbery brought in jewelry worth $ 2 million, including “family heirlooms that have been in her family for generations.”
Other Bling Ring victims include Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom, and Brian Austin Green.
The seizures took place from October 2008 to August 2009, and stars took over $ 3 million for exclusive clothing, jewelry, artwork, cash, and more.
The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist premieres on September 21st.
A Netflix representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
