Where can I watch blindly?

Viki and Viu, depending on where in the world you live, both offer streaming access to the show Blind. Unfortunately, these areas don’t seem to be expanding to Europe and the UK, as Viki shows that those locations don’t have access to them. However, Blind is currently being broadcast on tvN in Korea and can be seen there daily at 10:40pm. (KST).

Love Is Blind (TV Series) Bio

Love Is Blind is a dating reality television series produced by Kinetic Content and conceived by Chris Coelen. The series had its world premiere on Netflix on February 13, 2020 as part of a three-week event. The show has been compared to both Married at First Sight and The Bachelor, both produced by the same company, Kinetic Content. After the conclusion of the first season, a reunion special was released on March 5 on both Netflix and YouTube.

On March 24, 2020, Netflix announced that Love Is Blind will have a second and third season. The second season began on February 11, 2022 and ran through February 25, 2022 before ending. The events of the third season, filmed concurrently with those of the second season in Dallas, Texas, Netflix announced on March 24, 2022 that the show Love Is Blind would receive a fourth and five season renewal.

The first episode of a Brazilian adaptation aired on October 6, 2021 as part of a three-week event. The adaptation premiered in Japan on February 8, 2022.

The show follows thirty singles from the same big city, fifteen men and fifteen women, all looking for romantic partners. The men and women meet in specially built “pods” for a period of ten days during which they cannot see each other but can communicate with each other over loudspeakers. You start with a setup similar to that of speed dating, but later have the opportunity to arrange much longer dates. Whenever the dates feel ready, they can propose to each other. The first time a couple sees each other in person is after one of them has already accepted the other’s proposal. After that, the fiancés go to a resort for a retreat specially designed for couples. During this journey, they have the opportunity to be physically intimate for the first time while also spending time getting to know their partners better. They also get to know the other couples participating in the experiment.

After the fiancées move away, they all decide to move into the same apartment complex together in the city where they currently reside. During their time in the apartments, they get to know their partners’ friends and relatives, and gain additional insight into their partners’ lives by discussing topics such as their partners’ money, leisure activities, personal habits, and final home location. In addition, they organize weddings that take place at the end of the month. During this wedding planning period, the women’s group will shop for wedding dresses together, while the men’s group will shop for suits together. They each bring a few friends and/or family members. You also decide the taste and design of the cake that will be served during the reception. Each participant has to decide for himself whether he says “yes” at the altar or not.

Filming began on October 9, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia and continued there for the following 38 days leading up to the wedding. On October 19, the couples had their first face-to-face encounters. Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayetteville was the location for filming the ten days spent in the capsules. The newly engaged couples exited the pods, and then the remaining couples made a retreat to the Grand Velas Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, where filming took place. The couples, whose relationships were strong enough to survive the retreat in Mexico, move into an apartment complex together. Upon completion of the retreat, the engaged couples made their way back to Atlanta and checked into the Spectrum on Spring residence. There they continued filming until the weddings took place. On November 15, the weddings took place at two different Atlanta venues called Flourish Atlanta and The Estate.

For the show’s second season, the capsules were transported from Georgia to a brand new studio in Santa Clarita, California where production took place.

On January 30, 2020, the teaser trailer for Love Is Blind was released online. Following the release of the teaser, it was revealed that the 10 episodes of the series would be spread over a three-week period, beginning with the first five episodes on February 13, 2020, followed by the following four episodes on February 20, ending with the season finale on 27th of February.

Netflix made the announcement on February 26, 2020 and the special will be available on YouTube on March 5.

Unrevealed engagements

Within the group of participants, there were a total of eight couples who eventually became engaged. In addition to the six couples who got engaged on the show, two other couples, Westley Baer and Lexie Skipper, and Rory Newbrough and Danielle Drouin, got engaged on the show. Newbrough shared the following statement with People: “As we were preparing to leave on our vacation to Mexico, the main cast of the show walked in and said, ‘Hey, we were expecting maybe one or two [engagements].'” In all the other shows we’ve put on, we’ve never had success like this. We planned for a group of five people. Then we got eight engagements, which meant we had to choose who to follow. We could get our phones. They thanked us and then apologized that there just wasn’t enough for everyone.

After becoming engaged to the Pods, Baer and Skipper dated for a total of three months before breaking off their engagement. After Newbrough and Drouin got engaged, they celebrated by vacationing together in Miami for a week. After returning from their vacation, they decided to end their relationship and shortly after, Drouin began seeing another contestant on the show, Matt Thomas. Later, Thomas and Drouin also went their separate ways.
