Cameron Diaz says acting feels “different” after returning to Hollywood.

After an eight-year absence from Hollywood, the actress opened up about her upcoming Netflix film Back in actionadmitting she was “both” nervous and excited to be back in front of the camera.

“It’s a bit of muscle memory, you know what I mean?” she explained during a speech on September 16 The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I’ve been doing it for so long, it’s like a process, it’s like I just went back to it. But it’s a slightly different feeling.”

Cameron, 50, also said it was “great” to return to acting Jamie Foxxwith whom she previously starred in the 1999 sports drama Any Sunday and the 2014 remake of the musical Annie.

“The last film I made was Annie with Jamie, so the first movie we’re going back to is this movie with Jamie,” she said. “He’s so great, he’s so easy, he’s so professional, he’s so talented, and just a pleasure to work with.”

She added: “It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
