King Charles III leaves a touching note on the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II

King Charles III wrote a touching note to his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who was visible on her coffin.

The new monarch, 73, designed a flower wreath that contained flowers from her wedding to the late Prince Philip, as well as a note that read “In full love and devoted memory. Karol R. “

“R” stands for rex, which in Latin means “king”. The deceased queen signed her name regina, which in dead language meant “queen.”

Flowers lay on the queen’s coffin during the morning procession from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey for the funeral service, followed by another procession.
