Patrick Cripps remembers going to boarding school in Western Australia. Cripps makes a living playing Australian Rules Football. In 2022 he won his first Brownlow medal.

He is the first blues player to win the Brownlow since Chris Judd, who was captain in 2010. When Cripps won the Brownlow Medal in 2022, he and his parents went out to celebrate.

He has won the John Nicholls Medal three times. The first time was in 2015. He was also selected for three all-Australia teams.

In the first round of the 2013 AFL National Draft, Cripps was selected by Carlton Football Club. He played his first game as a senior against Melbourne in Round 4 of 2014. He only played three games that year due to injuries.

Where did Patrick Cripps go to school?

Patrick Cripps went to boarding school in Western Australia and then studied agribusiness, a mix of agriculture and business administration, in college. He lived at Aquinas College in Perth for two years. This helped him prepare for moving to Melbourne.

He comes from a farming family. Cripps does things outside of football that help him deal with the difficulties of the sport.

Patrick was born in Perth but when he was young his family moved with him to Northampton, a small farming town in west-central Western Australia.

After playing junior football in Northampton he moved to Perth and played junior and colt football for East Fremantle Football Club in the West Australian Football League.

He played for Western Australia at the 2013 AFL Under 18 Championships where he was vice-captain and formed the team that represented all of Australia.

Patrick Cripps and Monique Fontana marry

On March 4, 2022, Patrick Cripps and Monique Fontana announced to the world on Instagram that they were getting married.

Monique posted a picture of them on Instagram with the words “Forever”. Everyone was happy for her. After winning the Brownlow Medal with a voice, Patrick Cripps loves spending time with his gorgeous girlfriend Monique Fontana.

Monique was so happy when her boyfriend took the stage that she couldn’t help but smile. It’s her second reason to celebrate. In March, they told everyone they were getting married.

Monique Fontana is a registered nurse. She attended Iona Presentation College from 2007 to 2014. In 2014 she earned a Registered Nursing degree from the University of Notre Dame Australia.

From November 2019 to February 2021 she led the team in Customer Service at Patterson’s Insurerbuild.

I also worked as a Registered Nurse at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne from July to December 2019.

Patrick Cripps is worth $1.5 million. He plays for Carlton Football Club in the AFL and receives a salary of $1 million from the team every year. He also makes a lot of money from sponsorship deals.

The Brownlow medal went to Carlton’s captain

The 2022 Brownlow Medal was awarded to Patrick Cripps, captain of Carlton. In round 23 of the season, when the Blues lost to Collingwood, Cripps received the most votes and won the medal.

He got off to a good start and took the lead after lap eight with 16 votes. In round 20, when Carlton lost to Adelaide and he had a career-high 41 disposals, he reversed the vote and received three votes.

He almost missed the medal after being suspended for two games in round 21 for a high goal against Brisbane’s Callum Ah Chee. This meant that he could not win the medal. Cripps, on the other hand, was able to defend himself against the suspension in a long tribunal hearing and win.

He got his third All-Australian Blazer after averaging 28.1 disposals and 7.7 releases and 15.3 contested possessions, both of which were third in the AFL this season.

Cripps also spoke about his worst moment of his career when Brendon Bolton was fired as coach after Round 11 of 2019. This made him realize that he needed to work on his mind.
