Prince George, Princess Charlotte were “well respected” at the funeral

Prince George and Princess Charlotte did their best at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday.
Another participant, Mark Tewksbury, called the two eldest children of Prince William and Kate Middleton “incredibly polite” in interview with People.
The 54-year-old Olympian, however, noted that George, 9, and Charlotte, 7, also acted “a bit like kids, a bit like ‘Wow, that’s a lot’.”
Tewksbury explained, “For little Prince George, it will be one day and he doesn’t know it yet.
“And then I thought,” Ah, he just lost his great-grandmother, “continued the athlete.
The royal siblings arrived at Webster Abbey with their 40-year-old mother on Monday morning, while the Prince of Wales, also 40, walked in procession to the church from Webster Hall.
George wore a navy blue suit and black tie, and his younger sister wore a black dress, fitted hat, and a horseshoe brooch she had received from Elizabeth.
Their 4-year-old brother, Prince Ludwik, did not attend the event, possibly due to his young age.
When the deceased monarch’s coffin arrived at Westminster Abbey, the little ones joined their dad in a procession, walking in front of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
When they later left the church, George was photographed comforted by his Aunt Sophie of Wessex. The Countess put her arm around him reassuringly.
As for Charlotte, the princess cried outside and was comforted by her mother. Middleton put a hand on her daughter’s back and grasped her hand.
Charlotte remained delightfully aware of the royal protocol, even teaching her older brother how to behave as they watched the coffin pass by on the way to Windsor Castle.
She leaned over, gesturing with her hands, and you could see him saying, “You must bow.”
George listened to his sister, bowing as the time came as she cursed beside him.
Elizabeth died on September 8 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Her Majesty was 96 years old.
Although Middleton last week told viewers that Louis is struggling to understand his ruler’s departure, the Princess of Wales added that her three children are still “doing well” in the tragedy.
