Jonetta Kaiser’s Short Wiki Bio for Vampire Academy

Up-and-coming talent Jonetta Kaiser, a 24-year-old Louisiana native, won a key role in Vampire Academy.

A new Peacock television series was adapted from the Richelle Mead book. The show’s lead roles now go to Sisi Stringer and Daniela Nieves. Jonetta, an up and coming talent, offered to play Sonya Karp in the series, and she adds a unique element to it.

The young actress has spoken out about how she got involved in the new show. She also expressed her great admiration for the American novelist Mead. Kaiser appeared in a number of TV series and movies prior to Vampire Academy.

She moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to start a career as an actor. Initially, Jonetta went for Rose Hathaway, but eventually Jonetta was hired for Sonya. He was even happier when he realized she had auditioned for Sonya.

Then Kaiser saw that Julie Plec’s name was on it. Then she rushed home to watch the film. The actress revealed in a recent interview that she read the book when she was thirteen. These were the first fantasy novels for young adults she encountered.

Best Friends Teenagers Rose Hathaway and Lissa Dragomir are pretty typical. They commute to school together and watch each other during the day. However, there are a few significant differences between your friendship with your best friend and theirs. For starters, Lissa is a princess of the vampire race and the descendant of a royal line. Oh, and Rose defends her against a threat a little bloodier and more terrifying than a vicious gym teacher.

Richelle Mead’s acclaimed young adult trilogy “Vampire Academy” has such a story, and a new series about Peacock is adapting the books into a television show.

The main characters in the upcoming show are Daniela Nieves and Sisi Stringer, who also provided information about the project in an exclusive interview with the show’s creators, Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre.

But they aren’t the only cast members traveling with them. Jonetta Kaiser, an up-and-coming actress, accepted the role of Sonya Karp in “Vampire Academy,” and the Louisiana native brings something unique to the program.

The Early Life of Jonetta Kaiser

When I was 13, I read them. Those were my first fantasy books for young adults. What a cool thing. I would just go with my sister. I would read book one if she was in book two; after I caught up with her, she would continue. We loved these books to pieces. I believe “The Vampire Diaries” and “Twilight” were introduced to me through the “Vampire Academy” books. They were novels I read. Others exist. I’d go to Books-A-Million and browse the young adult fantasy section before buying it.

There are spoilers in the next question for both the “Vampire Academy” book series and possibly the “Vampire Academy” television series.

Jonetta Kaiser, characters from the series

That’s a sensible question. Christian in my opinion is Sorry, Mason. My favorite is Mason. You support him fervently, so when he dies in the novels, you are heartbroken. ‘No’, so it is. Mason is my favorite of course.

However, Rose is a villain! So in the long run you have won.

Yes, I said at age 13, “I want every boy to like me.” Rose is adored by all men.

I noticed that you stated on Instagram that you always wanted to play a literary character.

There are problems portraying familiar characters.

Playing a character with a fan base who have expectations about how they should behave, like Sonya, is another advantage.

Yes, without a doubt. There’s a bit of “I want them to be proud of what I’ve accomplished, and I hope they don’t hate it,” especially when you’re playing a character from a book series that so many people around the world love. But I can only do so much. It’s about whether someone is a people pleaser or not. If I think about it while performing a scene, I’m probably not acting to my full potential because I’m not there. I’m not here now.

If something happens in the moment and Sonya Karp reacts, whether it’s in character or not, but true to what’s happening for me, who’s to say Sonya wouldn’t? Even if it’s not what Sonya herself would do or what the character would do. Since everything was happening back then, it would be strange if she just stood there like a doorknob and did nothing.

Acting is fun because it’s improvised. You can never predict in advance what will happen. You can organize. You can organize. And based on the scripts we’ve been given, I try to respect Sonya Karp for who she is. Then, when I arrive on the big day, hopefully all that preparation will be visible, but you also have to maintain a certain level of presence to be in the present.

It sounds like part of it is believing in your ability to know your character and having faith in yourself.

Yes, and I hope the prep work and homework I did before going to the set is there. That strengthens trust.

Twilight was raised by you. Do you have a favorite vampire story? I have to take you there.

Excellent question. I loved the Aaliyah movie ‘Queen of the Damned’. That movie completely consumed my mother. Aaliyah is beautiful and attractive, but it is quite dark. That’s a feature I love. Like the underworld really. In the sense that there is a king and a queen, which is great to add to a vampire world because they are typically so old, it’s similar to ‘Vampire Academy’. That is, I believe, my favorite vampire story.
