How did Lesly Palacio die?

Born in May of 1998 in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lesly Palacio grew up there. It is said about her that she is a caring daughter and a sister who is always ready to lend a hand. The woman, who was 22 at the time of the incident, was in the final stages of her studies to become a nurse and was just months away from graduating. Besides that, Lesly always imagined herself working as a detective at a murder scene. The girl seemed to have a bright future ahead of her, but then everything was taken away from her.

Lesly’s loved ones have not seen her since August 28th, 2020, the day she left home. He was eventually seen on a surveillance camera standing in front of a house in Clark County, Nevada, around 6 a.m. the next morning. The search for Lesly, on the other hand, ended near Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. On September 9, 2020, his remains which had decomposed to an advanced stage were discovered hiding under a bush. Lesly was found at the location with only part of her clothes on, and the fact that dirt was found on her jeans suggests that she had been dragged. Who wants to kill Lesly Palacio?

After reviewing security footage from several different businesses, law enforcement officials eventually found Lesly with a man later identified as Erick Rangel-Ibarra. On August 28, 2020, he was 25 years old at the time, and the film shot that night showed him and his friends drinking all night. As a result, the police began looking for Erick. They located his residence, and a security footage taken from a neighbor’s house provided important details about what happened. On the morning of August 29, 2020, at approximately 6:00 a.m., a pickup truck arrived at the residence, and authorities suspect that Erick helped an intoxicated Lesly get out of her car.

Two men were seen on surveillance footage at approximately 7:26 a.m. dragging a body out of the house and placing it inside a truck. The police were under the impression that one was Erick and the other was Jose Rangel, Erick’s father. As the pickup truck drives the body inside, Jose is seen hosing the driveway with a garden hose. Inside the residence, officers discovered some human blood, along with cleaners and rubber gloves. Additionally, dirt found on the truck’s tires was analyzed, and they used other security footage to help them determine where the truck was that morning. In September of 2020, thanks to this analysis, police found Lesly’s body near the state park.

Authorities went to arrest the father and son, but when they arrived, neither was anywhere to be found. On January 19, 2021, Jose presented himself to authorities at the United States-Mexico border crossing in San Diego, California. It’s a lucky break for law enforcement officers. She told authorities that she and Erick had fled to Mexico together, but that they were no longer together. After that, Jose was asked in Nevada where he was taken. She said she was in the garage on the morning of August 29, 2020, when Erick arrived dragging Lesly’s body on a bedsheet. He said he saw Erick enter the garage around that time. At the time, Jose was under the impression that he had died as a result of an overdose.

After that, Jose decided to help Erick in removing the body of the deceased from their residence to hide it from the rest of the family. He insisted that Lesly did not show any signs of trauma and said she was naked. Jose decides to flee to Mexico with Erick after the latter starts acting strangely and discusses the possibility of ending his own life that day. In addition, one of Lesly’s sisters recalled that Erick’s mother and sisters were moving furniture a few days after the abduction while wearing gloves. This information was provided by Lesly. Afterwards, a friend of Erick testified that Erick asked him to bring a can of gasoline because he had killed someone else. Erick’s friend says Erick told him he killed someone else. However, at that time, the friend did not take him seriously.

Jose Rangel, then 46 years old, entered a guilty plea in June 2021 to charges of tampering with evidence and being an accessory to murder. Arrest warrants have been issued for Lesly Palacio’s father and son

According to court records, police have obtained arrest warrants for a man and his father in connection with the slaying of a Las Vegas woman, age 22, whose body was discovered last week in Valley of Fire State Park . The victim was found dead near the park.

Family members reported that Lesly Palacio was last seen on August 29, when she went out to buy drinks with Erick Rangel-Ibarra, now 25 years old. Last Monday, his body was discovered in Moapa Valley, near where Valley of Fire State Park is located.

After the discovery, authorities said they were looking for Rangel-Ibarra on a warrant and that she and her father, Jose Rangel, 45, were missing.

According to Las Vegas Justice Court records, a warrant was issued for Rangel-arrest Ibarra on counts of open murder as well as destruction or concealment of evidence. Additionally, a warrant was issued for his father’s arrest. Rangel is accused of destroying or concealing evidence, as well as harboring, harboring, or assisting a felony offender, according to the warrant issued Monday.

Because of the ongoing investigation, the Metropolitan Police Department declined to issue arrest warrants in response to a request for documents made by the Review-Journal on Tuesday.
