Willie Garson’s desperate son, Nathen Garson, paid a touching tribute to his father on the first anniversary of his beloved deceased actor’s death.

A Sex and the City star who he died of pancreatic cancer adopted Nathen from foster care in September 2021 in 2009, when Nathen was 7 years old. The couple seemed very close.

Taking for Instagram On Wednesday, Nathen admitted that among the many things he missed about his father were his infamous “dad jokes.”

“Wow. I can’t believe it’s been a year since the death of this beautiful bald man whom I can proudly call my dad,” wrote Nathen alongside a series of photos of the father-son duo.

“Apart from his head, I think I miss his laugh and smile the most. Because I knew that when he laughed, he wasn’t the only one laughing.

Calling his father “my best friend,” Nathen proudly remembered how his famous dad put others in front of him.

“He was not only my father, he was my best friend and mentor before I even knew what it was,” he wrote. “He inspired me when I was younger to be better than I ever thought I could and therefore always try to do better.

“I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for him. I wouldn’t be who I am if it wasn’t for him. He taught me to care for others and showed me how to love when all I could ever know was to fight for myself and only care for myself. “

Nathen encouraged others to follow in the footsteps of his late father and “live life to the fullest.”

“Life comes and goes too fast, so love everyone and say hello to a stranger from time to time because you never know when you might meet your next best friend. This is how my dad met me ”- ended his tear-dropping post.

The late “And Just Like That …” star had previously raved about his love for his son in an interview with Page Six a year before his death.

“He’s an adult and he’ll be taking care of me soon and that’s why I have him, to be honest,” Garson told us in October 2020. “He’s a cute and really special guy. He’s great, and he’s studying in Ohio.
