Why could I never “trust” Lisa Barlow

Meredith Marks awarded in Preview of Season 3 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” that she could never “fully trust” her ex-BFF Lisa Barlow, even in the heyday of their friendship.
Now Marx, 50, explains in an exclusive new interview with Page Six why she felt uncomfortable confiding in 47-year-old Barlow throughout their long relationship.
“There were red flags. There were reasons I was afraid to confide in her, ”the jewelery designer tells us. “Some of them I suppose you can see and some you don’t.”
Marx says that “hearing the way” [Barlow] talked about others ”consistently made her nervous.
She eventually broke away from friendship after becoming a target herself in Barlow’s infamous season two “RHOSLC” outbreak.
In a moment of fury, the founder of Vida Tequila launched a series of insults at Meredith. Barlow called her the “whore” who “fucked half New York and had” 10 boy-kings-motherfuckers, “also attacking her husband’s career, Seth Marx, and their” fucking fake family that poses. ”
“Still really – from that moment when I saw it recreated – I don’t understand what might have happened that would justify acting like this to throw hate and lies about me?” Meredith ponders, urging fans to stop referring to Barlow’s stroke as “hot talk about the microphone.”
“Let’s make it clear that it wasn’t a hot microphone. We saw him remove the microphone. So I don’t know why everyone goes there with it. I would also call it a childish tantrum, not a tirade, “he says, admitting that” ultimately “it ended the friendship, as both women knew about it.
Barlow tried to apologize to Meredith last season, though Meredith seemed to need more time to recover from the harsh tirade.
“It is very easy to accept an apology. If you receive a true apology with no explanation or obligations, what are you going to do? You have no choice but to accept and forgive, ”says Page Six.
“The question is always, ‘How are you going on?’ If you don’t understand why someone is behaving the way you find it painful, you can’t be sure that it won’t happen again. And that makes it very, very complex, and difficult to move forward in any way other than just the complete relationship at the surface level. ”
Barlow went to the record to tell she “is not proud” her diatribes, seemingly instigated by what she saw as Meredith’s loyalty to Barlow’s former adversary, Mary Cosby. The controversial preacher, 49, left the show earlier this year after skipping the season two reunion.
Season 3 of Salt Lake City is full of new dynamics. It’s worth noting that Barlow develops a close bond with her former enemy Whitney Rose while Meredith does the same with her Jen Shah.
Minutes after the premiere, Meredith tells Shah, 48, that rumors of Barlow’s business and marriage are echoing across the snowy mountains of Utah.
“I said there were rumors. I don’t know if they are real or false. Maybe there’s a deeper problem, ”says Meredith of her decision to discuss the rumors.
“I was trying to investigate if there was any reason Lisa treated me the way she did so that I could understand it and move on. I said that I don’t know if they are real or false and… that’s not the point, ”he explains.
“I’m trying to understand if there’s anything bigger going on here? And yes, there are rumors. It’s not that big of a deal. Rumor is rumor.
