On September 17, Post was performing at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis when he fell into a hole in the stage, hitting his chest. He paused the show, then returned, apologized to the audience and performed five more songs before heading to the hospital. There, he was diagnosed with bruised ribs.
He later said in a video on Twitter: “They gave me some pain meds and stuff and we can go on… on tour.” He also promised his fans in St. Louis that the next time he’s in their area, he’ll do a “two-hour show” to “make up for a couple of missed songs that we missed.”
He added: “Thank you guys for your support, thank you for your love and thank you for walking by my side even though I hit myself. I love you guys.”
Days later, the Post shared Instagram a photo of him performing, captioning the picture “FU Hole”.
