The former head of Scientology claims he saw John Travolta kiss the masseur

John Travolta kissed the masseur in front of the Scientology Big Fish, writes an explosive new diary.

Mike Rinder, who was in the top ranks when he left the organization in 2007, writes in “A Billion Years: My Escape from a Life in the Highest Ranks of Scientology” that he was assigned to help the married star “Pulp Fiction”, now 68 , with “some public relations problems” when he allegedly witnessed a kiss.

He remembered talking to the stars of Grease and Pulp Fiction in the hotel suite.

As they talked, Travolta’s masseur, wearing a bathrobe, entered the room and kissed the actor on the lips.

“I’ll be there soon,” John said as the masseur headed for the bedroom, writes Rinder. “It was quite shocking, right in front of a senior Scientology officer. It just hasn’t been done. I think that showed the trust he placed in me.

Travolta and Kelly Preston have been married for 28 years but "Since the early 1990s, Travolta has been plagued by tales from various alleged male lovers," writes Rinder.

The representative of Travolta did not comment.

Rinder claims he was brought in by the church to help squash talk about Travolta’s love life.

“From the early 1990s, Travolta was haunted by the stories of various alleged male lovers, including one of his former pilots and a porn star,” writes Rinder.

According to the book, after the National Enquirer contacted Travolta’s team about the upcoming story, the organization went to work.

Rinder writes that he was assigned to assist Travolta (above, with Olivia Newton, John et al "Grease") to fight off gay rumors.

“Realizing the potential PR harm that a homosexual sex story would have on an ideal pair of Scientologists, John and Kelly [Preston, Travolta’s then wife, who passed away in 2020]we dug up dirt on the sources and threatened the media with lawsuits, ”writes Rinder.

Rinder, Australian-born co-host of Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, writes that the Church claims that it is not anti-gay, “but the threat of a story describing a Scientologist as gay would cause internal panic because, for a Scientologist, no” cure “of homosexuality would indicate that the technology is not working ”.

In his book, Rinder also writes about Travolta (above with Samuel L. Jackson in "Pulp Fiction") that "the threat of a story describing a Scientologist as gay would cause panic" in the church.

Rinder also writes, “Much has been made of John’s sexuality, and whatever the realities of his sexual orientation, I firmly believe that he would have been more open about it were it not for the stigma he feels due to his strong belief in Scientology.”

A Scientology spokesman told Page Six: “Mike Rinder is a staunch liar who seeks to profit from his dishonesty … He supports himself by organizing harassment of his former Church and its leader with false police reports, incendiary propaganda and fraudulent media stories.”

Rinder details his decades in the Church of Scientology in “A Billion Years.”

Travolta’s wife, Preston, died in 2020 of breast cancer. She was 57 years old. The couple had three children, a son, Jett, who died at the age of 16 in 2009; daughter Ella, 22 years old; and son Benjamin, 11.
