Early life and career (1984–2005)

Her mother, Vandana Phadnis Lokhande, was a teacher and her father, Shashikant Lokhande, was a businessman. Lokhande was born into a Marathi family on December 19, 1984 in Indore, India.

She also has a sister named Jyoti and two brothers named Sooraj and Arun. Immediately after graduating, she moved to Mumbai in 2005 to pursue an acting career.

Rise to fame and personal life (2009–2016)

Lokhande landed the lead role of Archana in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap Pavitra Rishta after taking part in India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj (2004–2005). The competition was hosted in India (2009–14).

She was a contestant on the fourth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as well as the comedy show Comedy Circus and also appeared in an episode of Ek Thi Naayka.
