Ant Anstead is concerned that his son is being “used” by Christina Haack

Ant Anstead is concerned that his ex-wife Christina Haack is allegedly “using” their son, Hudson, in an ongoing custody battle.

In a court declaration obtained by Nas Weekly He claimed on Tuesday that Haack was using his 2-year-old son for personal gain, adding that “the risks to a child working on a television set (even if that” set “is Christina’s home) are countless and well documented.

He continued: “Apart from the obvious pressures of working in the television production environment, children involved in television production often have persistent problems that affect their well-being, worldview and self-image, leaving them diminished and dependent on others’ perceived approval of their self-esteem.”

Anstead, 43, said his goal was to ensure that Hudson “can have a childhood that is joyful, healthy and natural, with as little stress as possible, which should be prioritized rather than creating commercial opportunities and content.”

The Master Mechanic star cited the suicide of former Toddlers and Tiaras star Kailia Posey as an example of these “persistent effects”.

“One of my many concerns about Hudson being forced to film reality TV is the possibility that public ridicule of seemingly benign content will become insurmountable humiliation,” he argued. “I call on the courts to review the recent and tragic case of Kailia Posey and define an embarrassing meme.”

Haack has since rebutted Anstead’s claim, saying that Wheeler Dealers’ host allegation was “genuinely offensive and simply untrue.”

In court papers obtained by Page Six, she stated: “I’ve never used our son Hudson. It appeared in several of my own Instagram ads, each taking less than 5 minutes. I have all the footage, and they were all fun activities he liked to do, such as playing with toys or baking cookies. “

She further stated that “nothing was forced.”

Haack, 39, said the couple had already gone to “private mediation” to try to resolve the case, and that “his statement clearly shows that he is only interested in publicly slandering me.”

While taking Hudson away from Haack is clearly the “last thing” Anstead wants, in April he claimed that a mother of three had only seen her son “nine full days each month” in the last 20 months.

He also accused the “Flip or Flop” star of using his son as a “puppet” to get more deals with the brand on social media – which she also denied, saying his claims “deeply saddened her.”

Anstead and Hall welcomed Hudson in September 2019, but parted ways a year later. They finalized their divorce in June 2021, and Haack has since moved in and married Joshua Hall.

She has two children – 12-year-old Taylor and 7-year-old son Brayden – with ex-husband Tark El Moussa.

Anstead has once again found love and is now dating actress Renée Zellweger.

Anstead officials had no comments at the moment.
