Shania Twain began her career in the music industry as a singer. Her debut studio album, simply titled Shania Twain, was released the next year in 1993. In addition, she appeared as the lead artist for the singles What made you say that dance with the one that brought you and you put a whole lot of love on me that same year. That same year, she also performed on a tour that co-headlined, called the Triple Play Tour.
Her eponymous studio album, released in 1995, was called The Woman in Me. 2016-2022: Now second residency in Las Vegas
Twain stated in an interview with Rolling Stone that she would be releasing new songs “very soon” in October 2016. During an interview with Billboard that took place in December 2016, she spoke about her upcoming album. She said the end result would be “kind of schizophrenic musically” but that “She’s the glue” will hold it all together. Twain gave an interview to Rolling Stone in February 2017, in which she revisited the album. During that interview, select song titles were confirmed, and Twain said that not only was she hoping to release a single in March, she also plans to release the album in May. She performed at the Stagecoach Festival 2017, which took place on April 29th.
Twain’s new single, titled “Life’s About to Get Good,” was scheduled for a June release, according to an April 2017 Billboard announcement. The album should be out in September.
