Miss Teen Ohio USA, who went viral on TikTok while recruiting for the University of Alabama sorority in 2022, won a special title of Fan Favorite at the Miss Teen USA pageant on October 1. She also made it to the top 16.
Faron Medhi from Nebraska was crowned Miss Teen USA 2022 Jenna Backstrom from Idaho was the first runner-up.
Darnell gushed on TikTok about how “surreal” it was to be at the Miss Teen USA convention, and even gave followers an inside look at her weekend, sharing, “Kaylan is going on the Miss Teen USA trip this week and she’s feeling pretty crazy. It’s quite strange,” she continued in September 26 TikTok, “I’m in phantom mode right now because I get to be Miss Teen USA at the end of this week.”
The experience of winning the Miss Ohio Teen pageant in May and competing in the Miss Teen USA pageant was “crazy,” Darnell previously shared.
