Tao Group Hospitality is moving closer to the Lower East Side.

The nightlife giant behind popular venues such as the Little Sister Lounge and Tao Downtown will open five new dining options next month, says only one of our experts.

We hear that the new spaces will be located at the upcoming Moxy Hotel on the Lower East Side and are slated to open in late October.

Tao Group Hospitality will launch the modern Japanese Sake No Hana Restaurant, The Highlight Room rooftop lounge, Silver Lining Piano Lounge, Lobby Café & Bar, The Fix, and Loosie’s Nightclub.

Our source tells us that Loosie will have a “vibe” that “feels like the clubs of the 90s and early 2000s”.

The project is Tao Group Hospitality’s first-ever project on the Lower East Side and its fourth from the Lightstone Group.

“Downtown New York has always been known as a crossroads of entertainment and as an incubator for creative people,” Tao Group Hospitality Co-CEO Noah Tepperberg said in a statement to Page Six. “Our latest offering remains true to this reputation, bringing together five unique restaurants and nightclubs under one roof.”

Moxy Lower East Side is currently under construction at the intersection of Broom Street and Bowery Street and will have 303 hotel rooms.

Tao Group Hospitality – which acquired Hakkasan Group in April 2021 and is part of Madison Square Garden Entertainment Group Corp. – is behind several celebrity mainstays, including Tao, Marquee, Lavo, Beauty & Essex, Cathédrale, Ling Ling, Wet Republic, Little Sister Lounge, Jewel and more.
