Prince Harry, Meghan Markle are holding hands in new photos
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were photographed holding hands on a trip to Britain just before Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
Photographer Misan Harriman shared a photo he took with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex standing close as they intertwine their fingers together.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex just before attending the @OneYoungWorld opening ceremony last month”, Harriman described the photo on Instagram on Monday.
Harry, 38, wore a black suit and tie, while Markle, 41, looked chic in red pants and a tight red blouse.
While the alum “The Suit” seemed to have a very serious expression, Harry smiled slightly at the camera.
So is the photographer posted a black and white photo Harry and Markle at a party where they were seen backstage holding hands again.
The Sussexes attended the summit on September 5 in Manchester, England.
There, Markle gave a speech and told members of the audience, “We often hear people say,” It’s time, “but I’m going to double that by saying your the time is now.
She added: “Important work cannot wait for tomorrow, and this week the world is watching you cement your place in history by showing the good you do today.”
After reaching the summit, the couple flew to Germany to take part in the Invictus Games “Dusseldorf 2023 – One Year to Go” event.
But their journey was cut short when Buckingham Palace announced on September 8 that the Queen’s health was declining and Harry rushed to Scotland to be by his grandmother’s side.
She died a few hours later, and Harry, unfortunately, did not have time to say goodbye. And sources reportedly claim that Harry found out about the death of the deceased monarch online.
Harry and Markle mourned the Queen along with Prince William, Kate Middleton, King Charles III, and the rest of the royal family despite tensions since they relinquished their royal duties in 2020.
Markle and Harry attended the queen’s funeral, where the former actress shed a tear and the couple sat in the second row.
Markle reportedly also contacted Charles to make amends, but seemingly unsuccessfully and quickly returned to California where they live with their two children: Archie, 3 and 1-year-old Lilibet.
The Queen died at the age of 96 of old age.
