Audiences will be transported to an amazing new realm in the film, a dreamscape where precocious Nemo, played by Marlow Barkley, and his eccentric companion Flip, played by Jason Momoa, embark on the journey of a lifetime. Young Nemo’s life in the Pacific Northwest is thrown into disarray when his fisherman father, Peter, disappears under mysterious circumstances.
When he is forced to spend his teenage years in the big city with his well-meaning but socially inept uncle. His new school and routine are difficult during the day, but at night, Nemo follows a secret map to the magical world of Slumberland, where he meets Flip, a tough but loving bandit who quickly becomes his partner and his guide.
Soon after, he and Flip find themselves on an incredible adventure that takes them into dreams and far from nightmares. Along the way, Nemo begins to have hope that he will see his father again. If only he could find an incomparable pearl that would satisfy his deepest desires, then everything would be perfect.
The series stars Jason Momoa as Flip, Marlow Barkley as Nemo, Kyle Chandler as Peter, Nemo’s father, Weruche Opia as Agent Green, India de Beaufort, Chris O’Dowd as Uncle Phillip, and Humberly González. Flip is played by Jason Momoa, and Nemo is played by Marlow Barkley. Production
It was announced on March 3, 2020 that Jason Momoa will play the lead role in a live-action adaptation of Winsor McCay’s comic strip series Little Nemo in Slumberland, to be directed by Francis Lawrence and distributed by Netflix, which is beginning production. in the summer of the same year. Filming for the project had to be delayed, however, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. On October 12, 2020, it was announced that Kyle Chandler would be joining the cast of the film, ahead of Chris O’Dowd and Marlow Barkley. The roles of Weruche Opia and India de Beaufort were finally decided on February 18 of the following year. The film began shooting in Toronto on February 18, 2021, and continued until May 19, 2021. Pinar Toprak produced the musical score.
