Elon Musk says about Vivian’s daughter alienation: “I can’t win them all”

Elon Musk broke the silence over his break-up with his daughter Vivian, four months after the 18-year-old’s name and gender change.

Tesla CEO said the Financial Times in an interview published on Friday that his child’s decision to distance himself from him was influenced by “neo-Marxists” in educational institutions.

“It’s full of communism and the common belief that if you’re rich, you’re bad,” said Musk, 51, without specifying which institutions he was referring to.

The entrepreneur noted that his tense relationship with Vivian “may change” in the future.

The founder of SpaceX shares the teenager with his ex-wife Justine Wilson, as well as 18-year-old Griffin and 16-year-old Saxon, Kai and Damian.

He is also the father of X AE’s 2-year-old son A-XII and 10-month-old daughter Exa with Grimes. In November 2021, the engineer welcomed the twins with Shivon Zilis.

“I have a very good relationship with everyone else,” Musk said of his great offspring. “I can’t win them all.”

In June, news came out that Vivian had applied to change her name and gender two months earlier, asking her name to be Wilson instead of Musk.

In the April filing of the teenager, she listed her reasoning as “gender identity and the fact that I no longer live with my biological father or want to be related to him. [Elon] in any way, shape or form. “

Although Musk and Wilson did not directly address their daughter’s decision at the time, the 50-year-old writer seemed to tweet about talking to Vivian.
