Tia Mowry thanked her fans for the “outpouring of love” she received after announcing that she and her husband, Cory Hardrict, were going their separate ways.
“Every book starts with a dedication page, and this one is dedicated to you: my friends, family and community”, 44-year-old actress, described the Instagram post on Monday. She also shared some photos where she posed next to a vintage car.
“The outpouring of love I have received from you over the past week has been so encouraging and humble. I am very grateful to all of you, she continued. “New book, first chapter to follow. Love, Tia. “
Although Mowry filed for divorce on October 4 due to “irreconcilable differences,” the couple appear to be on good terms as Hardrict commented in a post on a red heart and shiny emoji.
After 14 years of marriage, the actress announced that the couple had resigned emotional post on Instagram last week.
“I’ve always been honest with my fans and it’s no different today. I wanted to share this with Cory and we decided to go our separate ways, ”wrote Mowry next to a black and white photo of her and her future ex-husband.
“These decisions are never easy and they are not without sadness. We will maintain friendship as we bear our beautiful children, ”she continued, adding that she was“ grateful ”for the 22 years the couple had spent together.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the “Twitches” star asked the judge to jointly physically and legally care for their two children: 11-year-old son Cree and 4-year-old daughter Cairo.
Since their breakup, some fans have speculated that the 42-year-old actor of All American: Homecoming had cheated on Mowry – which he vehemently denied.
The couple met as students at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, and Hardrict asked the question six years later. They tied the knot in April 2008.
