“Love Is Blind” star Shayne Jansen “collapsed” mourning her mother’s death
Reality TV star Shayne Jansen said he was “broken inside” over the death of his beloved mother, Karen Jansen.
The 33-year-old star of “Love Is Blind” shared devastating news on Instagram on Thursday saying they are “inseparable.”
“I lost my best friend today,” wrote Shayne next to a series of snaps of the pair. “We’ve been inseparable for the last year. Coffee every morning to Schitt’s Creek every night. I am devastated on the inside, but I know I can live without regret knowing that we did everything together.
“I will never be able to replace my FaceTime partner on a daily basis,” he added.
The Chicago TV star thanked his followers for their “support” during the difficult time.
It wasn’t long before Jansen’s costumes paid their respects to Karen, whom they met several times during their appearance on the Netflix dating show.

Jansen rose to fame in the second season of “Love Is Blind” and became engaged to cast mate Natalie Mina Lee on the show. However, the pair did not get married in the finals after Lee, 29, rejected Jansen at the altar.
