A more energetic performance from her would be what one would hope for, something closer to her portrayal of Erica Sinclair in the Netflix series Stranger Things. Instead, many of her lines seem rehearsed, and she tells a lot more than she shows.

It’s one of the more boring Halloween movies to come out this year, which is a real shame.
This is the most significant flaw in The Curse of Bridge Empty: most of it is, in a word, hollow, with a few endearing traits thrown in here and there.
