Megan Thee Stallion needs a “break”.
Rapper “Hot Girl Summer” revealed this via Twitter on Friday after news broke that her home in Los Angeles had been robbed while she was in New York in preparation for hosting duties on Saturday Night Live.
“Material stuff can be replaced, but I’m glad everyone is safe,” she wrote, then added, “Hotties, I’m really sorry, but after SNL I really have to take a break, I’m so tired physically and emotionally.”
The home of the 27-year-old artist in Los Angeles was broken into on Thursday night, and the thieves took off with expensive loot.
According to TMZ, two men in sweatshirts and gloves smashed the glass door at the back of the rapper’s house. From there they went to Megan’s bedroom.
Sources revealed that scammers left the mansion with $ 300,000 to $ 400,000 in cash, electronics and jewelry.
The police did not make an arrest but do have a video of the incident.
Megan had been in New York for several days rehearsing for her double duties on the weekend “SNL”, in which she will host and perform as a musical guest.
Besides “SNL”, rapper “WAP” has had a lot of busy months.
During the summer, she released the album “Traumazine”, which featured collaborations with Dua Lipa, Future, Jhené Aiko, Pooh Shiesty and Rico Nasty.
